Bolivian Court Convicts Former Military Officers
This is about five former top military commanders that were convicted of genocide in 2003. Court said it claimed more than or about 64 inocent lives. The judge gave each man 10 to 15 years of prison time. This event is what angered the citizens the most of all. Aside from convicting the five men the court also in the same week convicted two cabinet members involved in a killing that claimed three lives, each one of these people were sentenced 3 years each. Both of the convictions caused alot of anger the people. Therefore the president of Bolivia Gonzalo Sanchez into the United States for a sence of security.
