based on the video on wheather or not a second language is important.  In my opinion it goes both ways, it can benefit you but then again you really dont need it.  If i had to choose id say yes i do agree with Patricia Ryan, i think it would be good and important to know a second language.  well obviously if you know lets say spanish and english it provides you with a more variety of people to communicate with which might come in handy you never know. also for employment reasons, its always good to have someone working for you that can be diverse.  then again learning another language takes time and alot of practice, so its all up to you if you think its worth it.

In the song my assumption is that he is talking about females and how he likes them so much and what he likes. and how he likes to party and have good times.  whole song basically i think i describing how he likes his girls. (i picked this song because it had a good flow to it)

Current Event

                                         Bolivian Court Convicts Former Military Officers
This is about five former top military commanders that were convicted of genocide in 2003.  Court said it claimed more than or about 64 inocent lives.  The judge gave each man 10 to 15 years of prison time.  This event is what angered the citizens the most of all.  Aside from convicting the five men the court also in the same week convicted two cabinet members involved in a killing that claimed three lives, each one of these people were sentenced 3 years each.  Both of the convictions caused alot of anger the people.  Therefore the president of Bolivia Gonzalo Sanchez into the United States for a sence of security.

Blakes first blog entry

a. This semester i would like to improve on my overall spanish speaking most of all. And really trying to focus alot more this year than i have in the past to help myself out. i got goals to reach and they arnt going to be reached unless i put some effort into it. And hopefully come out of this class with a satisfying grade.
b. I think blogging will be something interesting and going to be fun to see how i like it. have mixed feelings about it right now but we'll see as the semester keeps on going on. No this is my first time using blogging. and yes it can be a useful tool.
